God's Law and Order is Love

In review, The “ One Grain of Sand” Blog was about we give glory to God by reflecting His Life. In the “ Why is Grace Amazing “ Blog we learned that grace reaches across sin’s barrier, empowering and enabling us to live God’s way. This is about God’s Law and Order which is really His Love and Order. Lets take a look at this through the faith that believes. In Hebrews 11: 3 New King James Version (NKJV) it states, “ By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. In the Amplified Bible (AMP) this translation considers the language and cultural meaning, in an expanded the view. Hebrew 11: 3 (AMP) “By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Moving forward, we need to keep in mind that one description of the word “ framed “ is “ put in order “ This “ Order “ was given to Moses in 10 Commandments.

Jesus told us what was the greatest of commandments” 36  “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37  Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Matthew 22: 36 - 40. New International Version ( NIV ) So, even though sovereign, God has an order from His heart, based on love. Let’s look in the follow as… What this Order Looks Like… The purpose of God’s order can only be understood by the intension that is hidden in HIs heart, and revealed as He wills. It is unseen until spoken It’s effect is seen in the world and can only be described as, “WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE”. GOD IS LOVE. When you were first born, did someone take you in another room, lay you on the floor, and say “ Child, this the world, you are now on your own? No, love doesn’t look like that! Love provides, protects, nurtures, and guides. It would be a long time coming before you would realize your world and be on your own. Every day would be preparation for the next. Every caring face became a landmark for your security. When you cried it demanded love’s response. Here’s how God responded.

Before we were born, God created a place, earth. He gave is light and warmth from the sun in the right measure. He gave us parents and companions in that order. He provided air, water, things to eat and for shelter. He ordered seasons, seedtime and harvest as long as the earth remains (promise), and replenishing cycles for supply and growth. He thought of everything we need.

During our lives here on earth He provides what is described in Psalm 103: 1-5 New King Jame Version (NKJV) Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. This is also a picture of salvation ( sozo, Greek for saved, healed, delivered, made whole ) After our lives here on earth ( after we die ), Jesus promised heaven… “ John 14:2-3 New King James Version (NKJV) 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions (dwellings) ; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. The promise of eternal life: 16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 (AMP) Those “ whoever believers “

There are many who don’t believe. What about them and why? The first sin or iniquity mentioned was that of Lucifer. Created with beauty by God, He looked at himself. Iniquity was found in him in the form of an attitude where he saw himself exalting himself above the very Almighty God who created him. He pawned off this perception to a third of the angels and He and them were ejected from heaven to be place in separation from God and His order to roam the earth until he and the untoward are cast into the Lake of Fire… ( a hell of separation ) Many have a problem with this. So did Adam and Eve… they disobeyed and bore the penalty as well as passing it on to all mankind. The same my question… “ How could a good and loving God send anyone to hell. “ Wrong question, but there is a better one: HOW COULD A LOVING GOD ALLOW SIN WITH IT’S DESTRUCTION INTO HEAVEN’S CULTURE OF LOVE AND OBEDIENCE ( WHICH IS THE WAY WE LOVE GOD ) ? HE DIDN’T AND HE WON’T. YET IN HIS GRACE AND MERCY, HE PROVIDES AN ESCAPE FROM THAT FATE.

We are told to… “ save yourselves from an untoward generation. “ because “ straight is the gate and narrow (difficult) is the way that leads to life (eternal) and few are those who find it.” GOSPEL means “GOOD NEWS” because God in His grace has reach out and all we have to do is believe and follow. He has given to His Word (Law) to guide us. He sent Jesus to redeem us ( pay our sin debt ). Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to live in believers to lead and guide them. He always points to Jesus, God’s Word, and the Love and Order of God. This life is like “ Boot Camp “ for Heaven. Love is not soft and weak. It stands strong for God’s order. Heaven’s Culture is Love and God defends it for His newborn spiritual children (believers). Jesus endured the cross for the joy that was set before HIM. JOY? The cross was a horrible death. Yet He looked beyond and endured it for the joy the reunion forever with believers and the Father of Spirits.
